Looking for Tax Relief For Lost Revenue due to COVID?

You May Qualify for the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC).

The Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) is a refundable credit that businesses can claim on qualified wages, including certain health insurance costs, paid to employees during the pandemic. ERTC was recently expanded under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) so there's still time to capture lost revenue due to your company's required full or partial shut-down.

We at Shell Law & Tax have the knowledge and expertise in realizing ERTC funds for business owners who may have lost revenue in 2020 due to COVID-19.

You may be eligible if you had and/or have ANY of the following conditions:

1. A business that had a significant decline (20%) in gross receipts

2. A trade or business that was fully or partially impacted in any way, or had to reduce business hours due to a government order

3. A new business started after Feb. 15, 2020

There may be other qualifying activities and strategies that could be leveraged to maximize your potential refund. Let the tax experts at Shell Law & Tax review your eligibility and determine your ERTC relief amount today!

A Barbecue restaurant received $151,000 in ERTC for one quarter.

A marketing company of only 15 employees, received a total of $110,000 in ERTC over four quarters.

A motorcycle shop received $220,000 in ERTC over five quarters.

Shell Law and Tax has been a gateway for many companies to receive their Employee Retention Tax Credits. Let us uncover your qualifying ERTC next!

Mandy Shell J.D., MBA

Mandy is an experienced tax accountant and attorney dating back to her childhood years helping her mother, also an accountant, with tax returns and other admin tasks. She then went on to graduate from Missouri Western University where she decided on law school after interning for the local Prosecuting Attorney's office. She obtained her law degree from Valpariso University School of Law in 2006 and immediately began working as a clerk for a federal judge while in Chicago, but decided to return home to Kansas City. Here she spent a year working at a large regional law firm before starting her own law firm where she helped small business clients with legal and tax issues. It was then that Mandy decided to go back to school part-time at the University of Missouri for a MBA. Upon graduating in 2015, in addition to her law practice Mandy inherited her mother's tax practice and its 600 clients.

She currently lives and works in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, with an office there and in St Joseph, Missouri. While still practicing some law, Mandy mostly focuses on her tax work, helping a wide range of clients from 16 year olds with their first job, to rental property owners wanting to do tax-free exchanges of property, to multi-million dollar corporations with multiple entity structures. Recently, she has been assisting business clients that need help with getting assistance through COVID-19. These credits/programs include PPP loans, EIDL loans and advances, the Restaurant Revitalization Grant, local grants, and the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC).

"Mandy and her team at Shell Tax absolutely blew us away. We immediately made arrangements for her to come on board as our Fractional CFO to offer continual guidance to our leadership team and our clients. Absolutely the best decision we could have ever made!"
